It is considered to be a native of Colombia and Ecuador. It is widely grown in northern America, northern Argentina and northern Mexico.

The shrub is widely cultivated for its ornamental features and beautiful flower.

Anthurium Andreanum is basically a low maintenance plant that grows easily if the basic care is provided.

The perennial shrub thrives well in a region whose temperature remains in the range of 20 to 35 degrees Celsius.
