Raat Ki Rani Raat Rani Night Blooming Jasmine is an evergreen perennial shrub which grows in almost every soil. It produces small flowers with a strong fragrance that can be sensed 2 to 3 houses away. It needs a lot of water and does not withstand cold.
This variety of jasmine gives a romantic, intense and intoxicating fragrance. It is a fast-growing and low maintenance plant.
Regular sunlight and regular watering are the only conditions needed for this plant and no special care is needed.
The only need of this plant is to protect it from cold climates as it will die when comes in contact with frost.
It grows well in soil with pH range from 6.6 to 7.5 with a good compost and manure. With a good river sand and cow manure, the plant should do well.
As said above, no special care is needed, normal watering is more than enough. Water the plant once in three days during winter, increase the amount of watering during the summer.
As a matter of fact, this plant is unharmed by heavy lighting and is best suited for moderate lighting.
But when grown outside, it can withstand heavy lighting and gives flowers with good fragrance.

Seeds are also used for propagation but the better way is by stem cutting since the plant growing by stem cutting grows faster than plants growing by seed.
This plant grows to a height of 5-6 metres and spread up to 2 to 4 metres which also can be grown inside.
While growing inside it needs to be cut so that it does not outgrow and there are more benefits if it is grown outside as the plant grows bigger.
This plant absolutely needs fertilizer as most of its energy goes in flowering and needs fertilizer for growth.
Make sure to fertilize it once a week and use some fertilizer of any type but fertilizer with nitrogen content will do well.
This plant is used for some medicinal purposes and it is said that the flowers can attract snakes so keep it with caution.
The fragrance of the flowers is very intense.
