Schefflera Hicolor is a genus of flowering plant. It belongs to the family of Araliaceae.
Schefflera Arboricola plant is also known by the name Dwarf Umbrella Plant because it looks like a smaller version of the real Umbrella Plant – Schefflera Actinophylla. It carries other names with it as well, such as – Parasol Plant and Octopus Tree.
Schefflera belongs to the group of Flowering Plants and is native to the places of Taiwan and Hainan. It falls the family of Araliaceae.
This plant is commonly grown as a household plant. It can grow indoors without much care on the part of the cultivator.
Schefflera is known to grow even in poorest of growing conditions and is tolerant to less care and neglect.
Schefflera plant prefers good sunlight, in general, but is adaptable to a wide variety of light levels.
However, putting the plant in direct sunlight should be avoided. Planting it in a place, where it can receive adequate light, but will not be harmed by the strong rays of the sun, seems favourable for the plant.
